Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. This position is based in a hospital setting and requires knowledge of medical terminology, patient service, and basic life support.

Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and self-care instructions
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle medical administrative support tasks
- Assist with X-rays under the supervision of radiology technicians

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Ability to provide excellent patient service and care
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Familiarity with inhale techniques for administering medication
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Relevant certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
