Topflight Grain Cooperative is looking to fill a Full-time Class A CDL Driver position at our facilities near Lincoln, IL.

This position entails the driving of a company tractor/trailer commercial motor vehicle with GVWR of 80,000 pounds in transporting a variety of grain types from Topflight Grain elevators to various locations. Includes vehicle upkeep and basic servicing.

Essential Job Functions:

• Drives tractor-trailer combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver grain to various destinations from various origins as instructed.
• Inspects truck before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
• Fastens chain or binders to secure load on trailer during transit.
• Able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to assist with loading and/or unloading freight, includes occasional climbing.
• Maintains driver log according to Topflight Grain Cooperative regulations.
• Comply with company policies and safety procedures. Promote safety among employees and customers.
• Effective communication among employees and personnel at destination locations.

Position Qualifications:

• Successfully pass a D.O.T. physical and a controlled substance test in accordance with the FMCSR.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Working Environment:

• Most of the time is spent sitting, driving a grain truck. Exposure to noise from machinery, alarms, and grain trucks. Exposure to a variety of weather situations when loading trucks and constant exposure to grain dust. Exposure to moving, mechanical parts in elevator and on grain trucks.
