Topco Associates is currently seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to join our Indirect Spend team in Quincy, MA. This position will be a hybrid role, with the successful candidate conducting work in our Quincy office three times per week and virtual twice per week.

The Sourcing Coordinator assists with routine procurement activities, including data entry, and helps ensure prompt and accurate member / supplier transactions.

Provides optimal service to Topco members, thus helping them to enhance their competitive position and profitability.

Essential Job Functions

• Generate, submit, review, and track supplier contract documents at request of sourcing leads.
• Utilize Salesforce to track sourcing events to process supplier and item assortment changes.
• Utilize Salesforce & SAP to process price implementation and updates.
• Collaborate with external and internal departments to troubleshoot and address price irregularities.
• Utilize SAP to create supplier financial accrual agreements for billing and proactively address issues with both sourcing leads and finance through monthly monitoring.
• Be the point person for the financial health of the category P&L by running monthly reports, addressing overdue balances directly with suppliers, and communicating internally with sourcing leads & finance department.
• Collaborate with suppliers to receive expected monthly reporting, tracking against the budget, and reporting out details on supplier reporting irregularities to the sourcing leads.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

• College degree preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years working in a professional office environment.
• Prior work experience in grocery or retail a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Enterprise Software applications such as SalesForce, SAP, DocuSign, and Contract Management Software
• Highly organized and dependable
• Customer service excellence
• Ability to interact with external stakeholders.
• Matrix organization ability to interact and take direction from all levels of management.
