IV Technician
Our client a premier Long Term Care Pharmacy located in Woodridge, IL is seeking an IV Technician! We offer a competitive salary!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete IV order entry and refills into a computer system for Staff Pharmacist review.
- Generate accurate labels for dispensing.
- Analyze and resolve clients IV complaints and inquires in a timely manner
- Prepare compounded sterile admixtures, and no-admixtures products using an aseptic technique.
- Prepare antibiotics, milrinone, and pamidronate
- Coordinate TPN
- Maintain the pharmacy's clean room
- Maintain proper documentation, logs, and reports to compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory and assure appropriate storage of IV supplies.
- Knowledge of IV products and compounding procedures
- Knowledge of proper gowning procedure and aseptic technique.
- Must be able to work with multiple infusion systems
Schedule:
- Shift 1: M-F 7 am-3:30 pm/rotating weekends
- Shift 2: 3 pm-11:30 pm/ rotating weekends
Salary: $18-$21/hrLocation: Cherry Hill, NJ
