Top Talent Professionals is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Elkridge, MD

We are searching for a Family Law Paralegal to join our team. This position is within a small but well-known friendly law practice in Howard County MD. Work remotely 2 days per week/in the office 3 days per week after the 90-day probationary period has been completed.

This position is responsible for direct contact and communication with clients, preparing legal documents and pleadings for court, organizing client portfolios, analyzing production and discovery documents and financial data.

Duties:

  • Summarizing cases and preparing reports for attorneys
  • Conducting research, investigating facts, and developing legal arguments
  • Drafting legal documents such as contracts, depositions, and pleadings
  • Preparing and filing documents with courts using MDEC/E-Filing
  • Organizing and archiving the documents related to completed and ongoing cases
  • Keeping track of changes in legal framework and providing timely updates on these changes

Requirements:

  • Family law/litigation experience is a must
  • Drafting legal documents
  • Degree or certificate in Paralegal studies preferred
  • Eager to take ownership and work independently and with the team

Compensation:

  • $50k-$70k depending on experience
  • Hybrid remote schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) After 90 days
