Top South, Inc. is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near Marietta, GA

The purpose of the position is to help produce countertops by engineering and programming a CNC machine.

Major Duties:

  • Converting templates to digital files
  • Utilizing CAD/CAM software to prepare files for cutting
  • Downloading files to machinery.
  • Study engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances
  • Implementation of cutting process
  • Calculating dimensions and tolerances and ensuring that machined parts conform to product specifications
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs

Well versed programmer with CAD/CAM experience

Conversant with CNC operation and proficient in computer knowledge

Related on-the-job experience, Stone industry preferred

Scope and depth of technical skills/knowledge:

  • Proficient use of PC and widely used software packages, e.g., spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word) Outlook
  • CAD/Cam software

Scope and depth of non-technical skills/knowledge:

  • Math skills
  • Troubleshooting
  • Attention to Detail
  • Meets goals and deadlines
  • Capable of handling multiple projects at the same time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
