Stone Security is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near LaS Vegas, NV

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
  • Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
  • Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
  • Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
  • Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
  • Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Travel may be required.
  • As a Project Specialist, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Stone grows.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch)
  • Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch)
  • Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
  • Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.
  • Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of related work experience required
  • On-the-job training may be provided.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Physically able to install system hardware and wiring.
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. at a time.
