Position Available: Chimney Sweep Service Apprentice & Technician

Compensation is relative to experience, enthusiasm, ambition, initiative, etc.

Service Location: Central Iowa

Position Type: Full-time

Experience: Although experience is preferred, we will train the right candidate

Desirable Skills: Chimney Service industry or construction industry experience

Description: We are currently looking to fill 1 full time Chimney Service Technician Apprentice position. This position is a year round permanent position. As a Chimney Service Technician you will be required to:

-Drive to local customer sites and interact with clients in a highly professional manner-Perform chimney inspections-Perform chimney sweeps, as needed-Make recommendations for our other service(s), when needed, and complete service(s)-Complete legible and accurate paperwork-Respectably maintain an organized and clean company vehicle

The physical demand of this position is moderate.

-Applicants must be physically fit (able to lift ladders, be on roofs, etc.)-Able to work in high places - Have a respectable fear of heights & able to work on periodic steep roofs-Have a valid license to drive with a good driving record-Have a kind personality with the ability to communicate clearly-Have good problem solving skills-Not be afraid to get dirty at times and enjoy working independently-Must enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather
