We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of our young learners. Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Use effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior
- Incorporate literacy education into daily activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a well-rounded educational experience
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Attend professional development workshops and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
- State DCF 45 hrs or willing to finish in 3 months
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
