Now Hiring - Security Officer Positions for a High-Profile Site in Richmond
Must be DCJS Unarmed certified already, or meet the qualification to get certified for security services. You may check the DCJS website for qualification to get a security license, https : / / www.dcjs.virginia.gov /
Immediate openings for unarmed and armed security officers. Don't have a DCJS security license, we can help you get it, while you work.
You may also qualify to move to armed positions and we would help get your certified.
- Monitor facility and property of assigned client
- Be professional at all times maintaining company expectations for customer service
- Adhere to the rules of Top Guard and any parameters defined by the assigned client
- Situational decision making; notifications to appropriate personnel if needed
- Write reports either on provided electronic device or on paper
- Make appropriate notifications to client’s assigned contact and Top Guard’s management
Requirements
- Must be CPR / AED certified or willing to get certified
- Must be able to read and write reports for any incidents that happen on site
- Must be able to move quickly, as there may be times that attendance need securities immediate assistance
- Must have good customer services skills. This position deals with high profile clients and the public
- Must be able to walk for extended periods of time. As this is a high profile site it is imparative that security is seen walking around to deter any incidents from happeing with the public
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed and 21 years of age for armed positions
- Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to speak and be understood clearly in order to give and get direction from the clients
- Weekends and Holidays are required working days
- Must demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times
