Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix paint and other materials to achieve the desired color and consistency
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect adjacent areas from paint splatter
- Remove fixtures and furniture as necessary before painting
- Repair damaged surfaces and ensure proper adhesion of paint
- Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment

Experience:
- Proven experience in construction painting, or related fields
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with maintaining hand tools and airless paint spraying equipment is a plus
- Previous experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is beneficial

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
