Registered Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Patient Care Excellence: Greet patients warmly and explain treatment plans to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout their visit.
Clinical Support: Assist dentists during procedures, take vital signs, x-rays, and apply topical anesthetics as needed, ensuring smooth chair-side assistance.
Sterilization and Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized equipment and supplies, adhering to infection control policies and safety regulations.
Appointment Scheduling: Schedule follow-up appointments, answer patient questions, and provide postoperative instructions with a focus on infection control and dental hygiene.
Team Collaboration: Maintain open communication with the dental team, contributing to a cohesive and efficient workflow.
Registered Dental Assistant Qualifications:
Education and Certification: Associate’s Degree or certification from a CODA-accredited program is required, along with current state licensure as an RDA.
BLS/CPR Certification: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) is necessary.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RDA, with proficiency in dental software and computer skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

We are currently seeking a Dental Receptionist for our Donna, McAllen, Pharr and Alton offices and the Dental Receiptionist will be primarily located in our McAllen office.
