Role and Responsibilities

Enters sales invoice information into company database, maintains database information for customers account information. Will learn Invoicing, accounts payable, data entry, transcribe voicemail to sales orders and take sales orders over the phone and back-up coworkers.

· Takes orders over the phone and transcribes voicemail to sales orders.

· Compiles and sorts orders for entry into company database

· Reviews documents for deficiencies, resolves discrepancies.

· Enters orders into company database utilizing alphabetic and numeric keyboard functions

· Verifies customer orders by reviewing, correcting, deleting or reentering data if necessary

· Maintain customer confidence by protecting and keeping information confidential

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

· Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School or GED

Preferred Skills

Typing skills: accurately type minimum 50 words a minute, preferably 65 wpm. Attention to detail, confidentiality, organized, thorough, high energy level. Experienced with Microsoft Office programs

Additional Notes

Prefer someone with previous Data Entry experience. This position requires sitting for extended periods of time while typing. It is imperative that the successful candidate type quickly and accurately with a strong eye for detail.
