ATTENTION ALL GEARHEADS! If you’re good with a wrench and know a thing or two about Hondas, then Tonkin Gresham Honda has an opportunity for you. Our dealership is undergoing growth and because of that, we are actively pursuing a Used Car Technician to join our service department. Working as a Used Car Technician, you would play a significant part on our team by diagnosing and repairing the used vehicles that come into our dealership. The used car market is quite large, so the demand is large. Our ideal candidate would be someone with prior automotive experience who can work efficiently.


Used Car Technician Job Responsibilities

  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Keep the shop area neat and clean.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.

Used Car Technician Qualifications

  • 1-3 years prior automotive technician experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Personal Tools

Corporate hiring requirements: 18 years or older with a clean driving record, valid driver's license, able to pass criminal background, and drug screen – THC not included in the screening.
