Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a K-12 Children's Art Studio Instructor. This role requires a blend of traditional painting expertise, effective communication with children, and strong curriculum design skills. Applicants must provide a portfolio or website showcasing their work, including paintings, sketches, handicrafts, ceramics, and collages.
Please note: After we review your resume, we will schedule an in-person interview during which you will assist the teacher for 15-20 minutes or design a mini-project to lead students. This position requires relevant expertise, teaching abilities, and communication skills with children, which will help us better understand you.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct art classes for children aged 4-15, tailoring instruction to different age groups.
· Develop creative and age-appropriate art curriculum themes.
· Assist in planning and executing exhibitions and events, including artwork installation.
· Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a stimulating and cohesive learning environment.
Requirements:
· Proficiency in traditional painting techniques and a solid understanding of art history.
· Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children.
· Strong organizational abilities and adeptness in classroom management.
· Preferred experience in curriculum design and lesson planning.
· Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
· Passion for art education and a dedication to nurturing creativity in young learners.
