Position Overview:

As a Certified Public Accountant, you will play a critical role in assisting clients with their tax planning, compliance, and strategy needs. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. This position offers a supportive and collaborative work environment in our Las Vegas, NV based office, allowing you to interact directly with clients and build strong professional relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to provide clients with strategic tax planning recommendations.
- Assist clients with tax audits, inquiries, and appeals, ensuring appropriate documentation and responses.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and effectively communicate these updates to clients and team members.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize their tax positions.
- Provide proactive advice on tax implications of business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Contribute to the firm's growth initiatives by participating in business development activities, such as client meetings, proposals, and networking events.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Proficiency in tax software and related tools (e.g., CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters UltraTax, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client engagements, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive and client-centric mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
