Tommy's Express Car Wash - Metro Detroit Area is Hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician Near Royal, MI
Tommy's express Car Wash is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to service our Washes throughout the metro Detroit Suburbs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is energetic, enjoys problem solving and doesn't like the same thing everyday! The position involves preventive maintenance, on-call mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and plumbing repairs of the car wash and it's equipment. This role is crucial to our washes and needs to demonstrate a mechanically inclined skills with a sense of urgency.
No Car Wash experience is necessary. Tommy's will provide Car Wash maintenance and equipment training, and will be a crucial part of the position success.

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:
- High school diploma or GED; Trade School degree preferred
- 1-2 years of any Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive background.
- Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is a plus.
- Experience with low/high voltage electrical
- Electronic and oral communication skills
- Welding experience is a plus
- Process-oriented and strong collaborator with the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
