Position Summary:
The Development Specialist - Grant Writer is responsible for grant research, identification, and writing, with the purpose of generating grant revenue to support the mission of Tommy Nobis Center. This role will identify, define, and develop funding sources to support existing and planned program activities. The role will coordinate the development, writing and submission of grant proposals to diverse sources of grant funding, including foundation, corporations, and government entities. The Development Specialist - Grant Writer is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance of program activities that are funded by third-party public and private sources.

Work Environment
Work is performed under the direction of the Director, Development with the majority of work performed independently. The majority of the work will be performed in an office environment.
