Tomlinson & Associates is Hiring an IT TECHNICIAN Near Boise, ID

 
Tomlinson & Associates, Inc. is a diversified, full service real estate company which is primarily engaged in the development, management, and ownership of multi-family rental housing and office properties. Tomlinson & Associates, Inc is looking to hire an IT Support Technician. This position will be responsible to support a broad range of software and hardware issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails regarding IT issues and queries.
  • Receive, log and answer IT support tickets. 
  • 1st line support role in the troubleshooting of IT related problems from software to hardware. 
  • Monitor and performs security tasks such as virus protection and login credentials. 
  • Monitor load balance on servers and makes recommendations accordingly. 
  • Monitor system to identify any system malfunctions and initiates corrective action to maintain schedules and to ensure integrity of production and customer service levels. 
  • Monitor and verifies that routine maintenance is performed, specifically on daily backups of all systems and ensures safe management of media in accordance with disaster recovery plan. 
  • Basic Active Directory knowledge. Creating user accounts, reset passwords, create groups etc. 
  • Install desktop computers, software, and peripheral equipment. 
  • Add and maintain users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards. 
  • Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high-level support to users. 
  • Travel to remote locations for training, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Help develop and maintain reports and databases as needed. 
  • Maintain company website and SEO.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years’ experience IT Service Desk or Technician
  • Ability to learn and maintain information quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a myriad of hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with databases preferred, SharePoint & Yardi experience preferred.
