Tomikawa Sushi Bar is coming soon to the Pasadena/Hastings Ranch area and is now hiring some dishwashers to create a safe and sanitary dining experience for our guests to enjoy! With its second restaurant in Southern California, Tomikawa Sushi offers a premium, all-you-can-enjoy experience for our guests. Some duties and responsibilities of a dishwasher would include (but are not limited to):

-Unload bussing carts and bins as necessary.

-Separate, sort, and spray down plates, bowls, cups, and utensils in dish wash line racks.

-Operate automatic dishwasher conveyor belt line to sanitize plates.

-Dry and restock cleaned plates to be reused in the cook line, sushi bar, or front of the house.

-Receive products, open and dispose of shipping boxes

-Dump and remove trash from carts, and common use trash cans

-Sanitize and clean restrooms as necessary

-Sweep and mop floors as instructed/requested.

-Use all personal protective equipment (ppe) as provided.

-Request for (ppe) if necessary.

-Act with care and professionalism at all times.

-Work with a high sense of urgency.

-Cooperate with co-workers and managers.

-Utilize JOLT Checklist technology to ensure hourly tasks are being completed.

-Report to work on time as scheduled and proactively communicate when you can't.

-Make sure you take all of your mandated meal and rest breaks, on time.

Other job requirements:

Push/Pull/Lift at least 50 lbs on a regular basis.

No particular skills required except a great attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.93 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

• Pasadena, CA 91107: Relocate before starting work (Required)
