Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities: - Assist the manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures - Provide guidance and support to team members during shifts - Ensure all food handling and preparation procedures are followed according to health and safety regulations - Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed - Train new employees on proper procedures and policies - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise - Operate the POS system accurately for order processing and payment transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas - Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving overall efficiency and customer satisfaction Skills: - Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Shift Leader in the food service industry is preferred - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions - Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Experience in banquet or hotel food service management is a plus We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
