Prioritize sales functions to have the greatest overall impact on company goals through the selling of roll-off dumpster and portable storage rental services. This position seeks out and solicits potential new clients, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clientele. This position works closely with multiple departments and is a true team player who enjoys working with people and displays customer service with whomever they work with during the sales process.

General Accountabilities:

• Develops and implements strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within an assigned territory
• Builds and fosters a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to drive business, through sales and/or networking
• Interfaces with the customer to understand the customer’s overall objectives and requirements
• Provides customer service and support by answering phones, taking work orders and answering and/or solving customer questions or issues
• Develops, documents, and enforces sales policies, standard operating procedures and best practices
• Attends sales meetings and is involved with trade groups

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior business to business sales experience and/or experience in the construction/contractor/building industry
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with proficiencies in emailing
• Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment
• Ability to follow instructions, respond well to directions, and receive feedback
