The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. • Are successful at achieving goals and going above and beyond
• Want to work in a fun filled, fast pace and high energy atmosphere
• Mixture of on grounds work and office work
• Have strong computer, organization, and administrative skills
• Deliver strong customer service, listening & communication skills
• Enjoy creating memorable experiences for our guests
• Previously have worked in catering, wedding/event planning, or customer service
• Detailed Oriented

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

• Participate in planning meetings with clients
• Day of Event and Vendor Coordination, with minimal supervision
• Working with the Catering & Group Sales teams to set up, assist, and tend to clients’ requests, while in professional attire
• Approaching guests in a fun and positive manner to ensure smooth and successful weddings
• Fully understand and communicate the plan to all parties involved including Catering, Group Sales staff, other Zoo departments, and third parties.
• Oversee client drop off of items and rehearsal run-throughs

Work schedules include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and can include holidays. Must have open availability for Fridays and Saturdays. Must have the physical ability to work on your feet and be able to walk the Zoo grounds for several hours at a time.
