Toledo Public Schools is Hiring a Substitute teacher Near Toledo, OH
- Must have a Bachelor degree (in any subject area)
- We must receive at least two Professional Reference Surveys back to be interviewed. Professional references are co-workers or supervisors.
We can not accept friends and family. (Reference surveys must be received within 10 days of application)
We will begin interviewing sub teachers for the 24 / 25 school year in July. Invitations to interview will be emailed.
Substitute Teachers perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time.
Candidates need to be flexible in their availability.
Substitute Teacher Responsibilities :
- Take attendance according to the procedures of the school, keep classroom and work orderly, and maintain normal classroom rhythms
- Comply with guidelines and policies of the school at all times
- Maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents
Daily substitute teachers can earn up to $1000 in bonus payments ($500 / semester) for working a designated number of days each semester.
1st semester - work 60 days $500
2nd semester - work 70 days $500
