Now Hiring: Weekend Waitstaff/Server (Japanese Curry Restaurant)

Hourly Rate = $16.00 tips.

Pay Range (Approximate): $16.00 - $22.00 per hour (※Range includes Tips)

Tips are pooled and split among all hourly staff.
Flexible schedule available.

What we are looking for:
We are seeking a positive-energy candidate who is guest service-oriented to join our team as a Waitstaff/Server at Tokyo Katsu Curry in Costa Mesa. As a Waitstaff/Server, you will play a crucial role in providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience. Training is provided, but if you already have some restaurant or customer service skills or experience that is a plus.

The successful candidate will be someone available to work on the weekends and throughout the year. Opportunities for more hours or advancement to leadership positions are available based on merit, skill, and ability.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
• Explain and take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner
• Buss tables as needed
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
• Ensure that tables are properly set and maintained throughout the meal
• Respond to guest concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Process payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the restaurant as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a server/server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred, but not required
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus, but not required
