Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
- Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests
- Take and manage reservations over the phone or in person
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the establishment
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper set-up
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and special events
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong guest relations skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
Note: Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
