  • Drives a safety focus with direct reports, and contractors and employees toward an injury and incident free work environment.
  • Supervises daily office facility operations to maintain full safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Directs the activities of team members and vendors in support of site operations.
  • Establishes and maintains lines of effective communication across the TEL organization on behalf of facilities team and contractors.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure effective support of TEL groups and site operations.
  • Establish meetings with employee stakeholders to ensure the office environment meets the needs of employees
  • Proactively escalates any concerns in meeting critical deadlines and goals.
  • Oversees creation of formal documentation of procedures, BKM's and process mapping.
  • Tracks inventory and asset management.
  • Drives capital projects.
  • Creates detailed action plans using PDCA.
  • Prepares and manages expense and capital budgets for assigned offices
  • Supervise site vendors (security, janitorial, vending, etc..)
  • Travel to support offices without dedicated onsite facility team may be required
Must Haves (minimum qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree; completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree; high school diploma or equivalent required.
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office/Lab setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This role has sedentary and physical components requiring some filing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 35lbs as necessary. This position also requires a mix of physical work and up to 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboardBenefits:
