Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for servicing a weekly route. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including tank trucks and flat beds.

Duties:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle

- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries

- Communicate with dispatchers and managers if any issues that may arise

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.

- Assist with deliveries as needed

Skills:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or route driver

- Familiarity with flat beds and tank trucks

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently

- Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
