Senior Community Programs Manager

Redwood City, CA

At Together Labs our mission is to connect people in the metaverse. Our platform, IMVU, has 4M monthly active users and several community driven programs. We are looking for a talented Senior Community Programs Manager who can help nurture and improve the overall IMVU experience as we continue to innovate and grow.

The Senior Community Programs Manager role will report to the Head of Community and will serve as an “Evangelist” for our player programs – driving all significant initiatives that encourage our users to participate and engage with us on the IMVU platform. This role will support and continue to acquire participants to our Creator Program (the lifeblood of IMVU) - which allows participants to generate and monetize off of their designs, our Greeter Program which welcomes and aids new users as they join our platform - and others.

The individual in this role must be a master communicator - both internally and externally– and know how to work well interdepartmentally in order to get support for the programs they maintain as well as those they drive from conception to completion. Above all, they must be a strong guiding force to, and consummate cheerleader of, our many IMVU Creators and Volunteers!

Responsibilities

  • Work to support/improve current user programs and facilitate the creation of content that attracts new participants to the IMVU platform.

  • Conceive and drive new programs that foster trust, benefit and good-will between IMVU and our existing Creator/Volunteer communities.

  • Develop new and foster existing relationships with longtime participants of our programs who contribute their talents to our Marketing initiatives.

  • Assist the Marketing team and support other departments in their needs for generating User Generated Content.

  • Work directly with the Community Growth Manager to provide support around Creator/Volunteer programs. Provide and review program success metrics.

  • Provide a strong and supportive presence in the community hubs designed for communication directly with our program participants. Provide both guidance and answers they seek to questions.

  • Lead and coordinate Creator/Volunteer outreach programs that include online events like Twitch (as well as our own forthcoming audience-based technology) in addition to yearly “real life” Creator events, and 3D design projects with professional institutions and conferences

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience working with player communities. Experience with UGC Communities specifically, is a plus.

  • Volunteer program development and management experience.

  • Experience with outreach to large communities of users; evangelism, coordination of communication channels

  • Excellent writing & communication skills - especially in the area of mitigating complaints and concerns vs. company brand voice. Previous Customer/Technical Support Service experience a plus

  • Experience dealing with VIP/High Paying customers.

  • Cross-functional experience working with all aspects of a thriving company ecosystem.

  • Organizational experience in planning events - either online or live; coordination of resources, agendas, responsibilities and group-wide alignment.

  • Experience working closely with Customer Support, Marketing and Production Teams

  • Previous hands-on experience with Salesforce, Discord, Slack, Confluence, Jira and Message Boards

  • Strong passion for metaverse and Web3

  • Experience developing metrics/KPIs, workflow design, and executing procedural optimization

  • Experience integrating metrics from daily tool dashboards for the purpose of generating regularly scheduled reports

  • Must be an experienced self-starter and time management expert
