This position is responsible for promptly and accurately receiving and processing weekly orders and coordinating shipments while maintaining excellent customer service to both customer and suppliers. Responsible for researching and resolving customer problems and inquiries as needed. This role will also assist with order management, the monitoring of shipments, third party logistics and inventory control.

What You'll Do:

• Receive phone calls and emails from suppliers and customers maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Process both domestic and international orders, coordinating and monitoring shipments according to vendor agreements.
• Manage and coordinate shipping and deliveries with carriers, 3PLs and customers
• Manage 3PL inventory by creating forecasts, monitoring demand and accurately tracking/reconciling on hand inventory.
• Plan inbound 3PL orders based on inventory needs.
• Answer questions and resolve customer complaints/issues.
• Serve as mentor to your team.
• Recommend changes in operational methods and procedures for overall improvement.
• Analyze and recommend changes to improve external partner performance.
• Assist with maintaining database information as needed.
• Provide reports to management as needed.
• Assist Logistics Assistant Manager & Logistics Manager with related duties.

More About This Position:

• This role may be remote, hybrid, or 100% in-office at our offices in Hood River, OR.
• This is a largely sedentary role remaining seated for periods of time in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position occasionally is required to enter the production and/or warehouse floor and must follow personnel procedures pertaining to dress and code of conduct in that area.
• This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Typical days and hours of work are business hours Monday through Friday. Flexibility in work schedule is required to accommodate business needs.
• No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

• High School or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• 3 years of experience with warehousing and logistics
• Organized, self-motivated and detail oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret a diverse array of documents
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
• Demonstrates effective problem solving and leadership skills
• Demonstrates independent judgement and effective decision-making
• Ability and openness to adapt to rapid change and work well under pressure
