Toft Dairy in Sandusky, Ohio is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver with a Class A CDL (with current medical card) for delivering milk and ice cream products to our clients.

For over 100 years, Toft's dairy products have been a North Central Ohio favorite. The family tradition of delivering quality products, along with quality customer service remains a top priority.

In maintaining a strong quality focus, the right candidate(s) must be dependable and hardworking, along with having a positive customer service attitude.

Routes range within 100 miles or less from Sandusky, OH and all routes leave from Toft Dairy (3717 Venice Road Sandusky, OH) between 1 AM to 4 AM to meet our customer's delivery requirements.

Toft's delivery drivers enjoy a 40 hr / wk., while being home every night and having weekends off. Following a 60 day initial period, Medical Insurance is available with Rx Drug coverage, and supplemental insurance (AFLAC) for Vision & Dental.

Qualifications :

• Must be reliable / dependable (punctuality is a must)
• Must have a positive attitude toward work
• Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical Exam
• Must be able to pass initial and random drug testing
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Ability to drive a 10 speed standard
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records
• Ability to follow written and oral directions
• Ability to read and interpret policies / procedures (Food Safety, General Safety, HR, etc.)

Physical Requirements :

• Climbing in & out of truck
• Sitting for periods of time while operating hand & foot controls
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push / pull loaded pallet jack and / or 2 wheeled hand-truck
• Lifting, stacking, carrying is required
• Ability to work in cold temperatures
• Ability to balance on slippery walking surfaces (especially during winter conditions)

Equipment :

• Tractor trailers with lift gate & straight trucks
• Pallet jack / 2-wheeled hand-truck
