Job Overview:
Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate activities and lessons to promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of preschool children
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and progress
- Ensure the health and safety of all students at all times
- Foster a love for learning through engaging lessons and activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience of one year or more working in a licensed daycare
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
