seeks a Full-Time Insurance Coordinator. The office hours of operation

are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (NO Weekends)

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Insurance Coordinator at Today's Family Dentistry PC. The Insurance Coordinator will have vast dental knowledge, multiple insurance carrier policy and clause familiarity, be responsible for pre-determinations, treatment plans and insurance claim processes, complete insurance payment application, ensure collections are maximized from both insurance and patients while providing exceptional customer service. This is an on-site role located in Cullman, AL.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of most Insurance carriers, policies and clause knowledge for procedure verification determination for payment receipt
• Payment Application with knowledge of benefit explanations for determining benefit coverage, payment, adjustment and denial codes
• Submit electronically all pertinent documentation for pre-determinations and insurance claim processes to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in the dental insurance industry preferred

Optional Experience:

• Knowledge of Dentrix Software
• Dental Terminology
