Description 

  • Must have prior Implant Treatment Coordinator experience or a strong base knowledge of implants and the process 
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our current treatment plans 
  • Answer patient questions, handle patient complaints, manage patient relations, investigate patient concerns, educate patients on procedures, and follow up with patients as needed 
  • Communicate with surgeons regarding daily consultations, case developments 
  • Utilize materials including digital images, intraoral camera photos, models, and brochures to educate patients so they have a complete understanding of their condition 
  • Assist the surgeons with exams as needed and be present when the doctor presents the recommended treatment plan 
  • Build the value of the service in relation to fees 
  • Follow-up with patients regarding doctor’s treatment plans and schedule appointments/follow-ups 
  • Exercise good teamwork and partner with the team to create good patient experiences 
  • Navigate software without assistance 
  • Obtain case acceptance with as high a percentage of patients as possible 
  • Enhance relationships with referring doctors by keeping them updated on the progress of the cases they refer, ensuring they have the parts, tools, and information necessary to successfully complete restorations (including mailing or delivering parts and pieces for case completion), and answering questions when restorative offices need assistance 
  • Track patients with pending/incomplete treatments, those who do not accept treatment, case acceptance rates, restoring doctor preferences, and keep referring doctors informed 
  • Assist with implant inventory, oversee the handling of implants and components for each case (including surgical guides), and track kits/parts/pieces loaned to referring offices 
  • Educate staff on how to identify implant prospects and direct them to you for consultation 
  • Communicate regularly with implant reps to stay informed of the processes, placement, parts, and restoration of implants including new materials/developments 
  • Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner 
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedules and office policies 
  • Must be flexible 
  • Must excel in forward thinking to anticipate the needs of the patient and our dental team 
  • May be required to travel between office locations - must be insurable by the company’s insurance 
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by management
