Position Overview

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between the intricate world of airline operations and our technological ambitions. Your expertise in the airline domain will enable you to provide valuable insights and analysis, guiding the development and enhancement of our products and services. Working closely with Product Owners, you will help articulate the business needs into actionable requirements, playing a key role in our agile development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners to define and refine project requirements, ensuring they are in line with the strategic goals of the airline and the needs of our customers.
• Conduct thorough business process analysis and requirements gathering from stakeholders across different departments within the airline domain.
• Translate complex airline operational requirements into clear, concise, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement or system enhancements.
• Facilitate requirements prioritization and backlog grooming sessions with Product Owners and agile development teams.
• Assist in the validation and testing of new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the defined requirements and business needs.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and regulations in the airline industry to ensure our products and services remain competitive and compliant.
• Provide training and support to users on new systems and features, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years specifically within the airline or aviation sector.
• Deep understanding of airline operations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and converting business needs into actionable development tasks.
• Strong familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
