The VP, Venue Operations will oversee all aspects of our TGL venue, SoFi Center, which is located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Reporting to the SVP, Live Event Experience, this person will manage, lead and operate this venue and surrounding experience by partnering with internal and external vendors to oversee all logistics, facilities needs and in-house production.

Responsibilities

• Ensure event readiness for all TGL and non-TGL events
• Partner with external vendors to manage multiple aspects in and around the venue, including food and beverage, security, parking, janitorial services, maintenance, waste management, signage (on-site & roadway), temporary scaffold (when needed), etc. 
• Provide excellent hospitality experience through the management of VIP clubs, kiosks, suites, locker rooms, etc. 
• Ensure white glove service to TGL players and liaison with player relations team to ensure a high quality match-night experience for each of the participating players
• Maintain pristine appearance of venue, inside and out, by hiring and managing quality housekeeping/janitorial, landscaping vendors and more
• Host facility tours to sponsors, players, community leaders, and other key supporters
• Collaborate with internal Tech, Broadcast and Events stakeholders to ensure smooth TGL game experiences
• Handle all procurement needs for venue, including tracking and payment of invoices
• Oversee venue operations budget for submission/review with SVP, Live Events and identify and recommend capital improvements if/when required
• Lead margin analysis initiatives to assist in evaluation of non-TGL event opportunities 
• Work with partnerships and merchandising to identify additional revenue-drivers in venue during TGL season and year-round
• Set up life safety program (fire, police, EMS) according to compliance
• Create and enforce Operations Manual to highlight policies and procedures related to the venue, including crisis management plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sport Management or related field from an accredited college or university
• 10 years of experience managing large-scale indoor or outdoor event experiences in a stadium/arena, fairgrounds, convention center or similar public assembly facility
• Skilled knowledge in creating venue mapping and routing plans, writing SOP documents, and showcasing in PPT, CAD, etc. 
• Proven ability to lead wide-ranging group of internal/vendor stakeholders 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with high-level of organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt to unforeseen challenges 
• Availability to work nights / weekends throughout year to support successful execution of TGL and non-TGL events
• Ability to physically lift up to 50lbs at a time
