Come join our Corporate Security team! In this role, you are responsible for conducting and documenting physical security assessments at T-Mobile facilities and commercial office locations, site assessments at vendor locations, and perform gap analyses. Additionally, you will develop site security plans to include placement of access control, intrusion, CCTV, and emergency alerting system stations for new builds and retrofits. You will be responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of physical systems operations and programming and for coordinating with other Enterprise Security Team members, T-Mobile partners, and T-Mobile authorized integrators and installers.
** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and is based in Overland Park, KS. Must be willing to travel 25% **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, conduct, and document results of physical security assessments at critical T-Mobile facilities and commercial locations.
  • Initiate appropriate corrective actions for identified concerns and shortcomings. Conduct frequent follow-up until repairs or adjustments are completed by the appropriate partners
  • Maintain physical security design protocols and develop site security plans for technical, critical, and commercial office locations.
  • Assist in drafting security policy, standards, and guidelines, track annual document reviews, and coordinate with partners.
  • Assist with monthly enterprise badge office compliance audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience plus 3-5 years experience in commercial electronic security systems design and auditing, inspection, or policy experience with call center, security monitoring, or security operations centers.
  • Experience with data bases and technology platforms
  • A strong attention to detail, ability to think critically, problem solve and meet management deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills, written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize assigned workload
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional certification through ASIS International or similar professional security certification through an accredited professional security organizations; or the ability to attain such certification within 18 months of employment
  • Experience using Software House Ccure 9000 and AMAG Symmetry access control platforms.
  • Experience with audit and assessment processes and protocols.
  • Experience with writing and communication policy and procedure documents.
