Job Description:

• Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, the staff RN/LPN performs in accordance with physicians' orders.

• Provide necessary nursing services to students in the residential program including distribution of medications as needed.

• Conducts the initial and ongoing assessment of students' illness/injuries, updating the director/case manager/parent per protocols and determines the students' needs to be seen by a PCP, urgent care, or emergency department for injury/illness requiring further assessment.

• Keeps ongoing communication/consultation with the student's family/Client, home physicians, case management, and residential and/or educational staff.

• Administrative duties as needed such as scanning of medical documents, filing, updated medical records as needed, updating student files, etc.

• Additional Responsibilities Will assist in supervising MNAs on clinical staff.

Licensure Requirements:

• LPN License

• BLS/ CPR Certificate

• IV experience is required and IV Certification is preferred, not compulsory to have it.

• Covid Card if vaccinated
