TMC Technologies seeking a network engineer to develop, deploy, modernize, and expand our customer’s program. The selected candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills along with a thorough knowledge of network architecture and administration. You will work with our team of engineers for optimizing network usage, and for security and data protection of our customer’s networks. The expected salary for this position is $105,000 per year (exceptions depending on experience).

Primary duties may include:

• Perform network design/monitoring, permissions management, account management, user activity logging, virtualization management, middleware management, database management. 
• May design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain networks and network components supporting data, voice and/or audio communication activities
• Prepare the analysis of short/long term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission and signaling
• May conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies as well as internal studies of network performance and traffic analysis
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university and 5 years or more relevant experience; a Master’s degree and 3 years or more relevant experience. May substitute 9 years or more experience.

Active Top Secret Clearance 

Minimum 3 years of networking experience 

Knowledge of communication protocols specifically routing protocols like BGP, OSPF as well as TCP/IP

Sound knowledge of network security and control models

DoD 8570.1 IAT II certification required
