Our Growing Manufacturing company is looking for a qualified Operations Manager to join our team and work with the latest technologies. The plant manager should work well with people as well as contribute to the profitability of the company. The ideal candidate will have between 10-20 years of work experience and some experience managing people.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA in operations, business, or equivalent
• Proven 5-10 years'work experience in operations.
• Proven leader with a strong business/financial acumen; PNL statements, adjusting PNL's, preparing budgets, managing budgets and capital expenditure justifications.
• Project management experience; Proven track record of leadership skills, along with advanced communication, organization, and administrative skills
• Effective written and oral communication with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the organization, including strong presentation skills.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge including Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong work ethic and exemplary business ethics and leadership
• Ability to contribute new ideas to the team
• Demonstrates performance stability under pressure and sometimes opposition.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

• This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for leadership, performance management and hiring of the employees within that department and ensure proper training is provided.
• Responsible for the performance of various functions within operations such as Manufacturing, Maintenance, Shipping/Receiving, Production Control, Operational Cost Accounting, and Engineering.
• Implements cost effective systems for operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
• Account for all company revenues, expenditures, capital, and fund operations
• Analyze operations to evaluate performance to identify areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement and/or policy changes
• Direct, plan and implement policies, objectives, and activities of manufacturing to ensure profitable operations and to maximize return on investments
• Work closely with Quality Management and maintain ISO certification
• Hire, develops, motivate and train individuals for future advancement and retain employees.
• Develops and sustains systems and processes that track and optimize quality standards, on-time delivery, and financial performance through metrics and performance targets.
• Manage the implementation of the divisional guidelines and strategies
• Develops and implements plans and budgets regarding both short and long-term labor, equipment, and facilities requirements. Allocates resources effectively and fully utilizes assets to produce optimal results.
• Perform annual employee performance evaluations.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working culture which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
• Interfaces with central operations management to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provides input on local conditions, identifies needs, and receives direction on real-time staffing increases or decreases.
• Provides technical troubleshooting/problem solving and training as needed.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
