DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Ability to operate directional boring and locating equipment
• Locate and verify all utitilies before boring process
• Daily inspections of equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot problems
• Read blue prints and have knowledge of the underground process
• Keep track of time and quantities for Crew
• Operate tools and equipment to perform support tasks for drilling operations
• Coordinate with Project Managers on project needs
• Work safely with leads, laborers and complies with TLS’s Safety Policies
• Provides manual labor as needed specific to the task

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum three (3) years experience operating directional drill equipment in Tulsa area
• Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, locating systems, trencher, backhoe and excavator
• Travel to and from job sites with occasional overnight stay (transportation and hotel are company provided; will return home for the weekends)
• Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials
• Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure
• Excellent organization and planning skills to prioritize and balance work
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and professionally

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Job sites that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter, hazardous, noisy, and dusty.
• Occasional work in warehouse.
