We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager (Supervisor) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a workforce to achieve landscape maintenance schedules, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure efficient use of resources. You will work closely with Team Leaders and other personnel to deliver excellent service to our customers while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
Develop, monitor, and discipline an efficient workforce to accomplish landscape maintenance schedules as assigned.
- Schedule work teams and maintain strict, efficient production schedules within quality conditions at maximum productive efficiency with minimal unbillable time expenditures.
- Maintain costs within assigned budgets.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Assist first-line personnel (Team Leaders) in carrying out their duties and development.
- Manage and coordinate work for assigned customers.
- Provide technical information to customers, potential customers, and field personnel.
- Develop and train Team Leaders for optimal performance.
- Oversee proper use, maintenance, and effective utilization of vehicles and equipment as assigned.
- Maintain a high level of good housekeeping in the field, vehicles, and customer work areas.
- Perform daily job site audits to ensure work meets prescribed quality standards and development opportunities are addressed.
- Develop and recommend improved work methods and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Cooperate with all line and staff personnel to execute schedules and programs as planned.
- Assist the Company Safety Committee in all matters related to company security and personnel safety.
- Complete special projects as requested by the Production Manager to meet the changing needs of the company.
- Retain customers by delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production management, supervision, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in technical aspects of equipment and vehicle maintenance.
