The Katherine Thomas School, a program of TLC in Rockville, MD has an opportunity for a few full-time 10/11 month Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2022/2023 school year. KTS services students in preschool through middle school grades with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or high functioning autism. EOE

The position is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students who exhibit communication learning problems related to speech, pragmatic language and autism.

Required Experience:

Required Experience for the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):

• Maryland Speech License or be eligible at the time of hire
• Master's in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing or equivalent program
• Experience in Augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing and Social Thinking is a plus
• Experience with the pediatric population

As a condition of employment, all newly hired employees are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated.
