Job Description

As a foreman you are responsible for but not limited to; keeping a two week look ahead on your project, updating the project schedule weekly, keeping good communication with your supervisor and subcontractors, training your fellow co-workers and maintaining up to date as-builds. All while maintaining a safe work environment and producing quality work on or ahead of schedule. This is a full time position with some out-of-town work.

Knowledge/Experience

• 5 years of experience in the asphalt paving industry
• Leadership skills
• Able to read and understand plans and specifications

Job Requirements

• Safety – knowing and understand rules and standards
• Math skills sufficient to measure and calculate material requirements
• Know proper installation procedures and who is responsible for inspections
• Knowledge of mix designs, their specific applications, and applicable techniques necessary for their installation
• Know type and size of equipment that is needed to complete the job at hand
• Knowledge of quality control methods and standards

Salary

$72,000- $93,000

• TLC offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for this position ($1500 after 45 days, $3500 after 120 days)
