Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality patient care and assist in the rehabilitation process. Responsibilities: - Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist - Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises and manual techniques - Monitor patients' progress and document observations in medical records - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain a clean and organized treatment area - Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures Requirements: - Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program - Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathology - Experience in acute care, hospital, or occupational health settings preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team - Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities - Proficiency in trigger point therapy is a plus We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our employees.
