Coordinates bookings with our client approved Freight Forwarding Agents and carriers for timely sail and delivery dates for all export shipments from the Memphis facility. Works with both the Plant Schedulers and Logistics department to determine best availability dates of ordered items. Also works in coordination with Our Clients Customer Service representatives. Reports to the Logistics Manager at the Memphis Plant and to the Global Business Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:List four or five primary responsibilities of the position in the space provided below, indicating the most important functions first.

• Manage outbound export shipments to our clients global customers.
• Manage inventory levels at global outside warehouses in Europe and Singapore through forecasting from the Global Business Manager and Europe Amide Account Manager.
• Facilitate bulk ISO containers for shipments from our client in Memphis to sister site in Korea.
• Manage inventory levels for domestic outside warehousing in Akron, Ohio.
• Manage on site inventory levels of Advawax purchased from Lonza for resale at the Memphis site.
• Work with Logistics Manager to coordinate shipments of supplies to any outside tollers as needed.

Understand pricing structures and identify any possible savings opportunities.

Must have an Associates or Technical degree.

1-3 years of experience

Required Skills or Abilities: In order of importance, list specific skills or abilities which a qualified incumbent should possess (e.g. computer literacy, subject knowledge, etc.).

• Knowledge of manufacturing facility, warehousing and materials handling.
• Previous experience working with Box and/or Bulk exports. Previous Customer Service experience was also helpful.
• Must have some working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must have basic computer/information technology skills. Strengths in EXCEL and WORD are extremely helpful.
• Knowledge of Oracle software is helpful.
