MANAGER, MARKETING & FAN ENGAGEMENT

The Manager of Marketing & Fan Engagement will play a central role in setting marketing strategy, developing engaging experiences and staging unique events that grow the CITY SC brand, bring our community together, create lasting memories for our fans and fuel a passion for soccer. 

Responsibilities will include working with internal stakeholders to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, stage club events, create engaging grassroots experiences and manage our youth marketing programs. We seek someone with a passion for our community, a strong marketing and event management background and excellent organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Work with the brand/marketing team to develop and execute overall marketing strategy for CITY SC
• Responsible for executing marketing campaigns that support internal departments – ticketing, community relations, sponsorship and retail
• Responsible for grassroots marketing campaigns, promotions and events to target audiences to drive awareness and engagement
• Responsible for managing youth marketing programs 
• Work with internal departments in fulfilling marketing needs related to community initiatives and grassroots marketing and events
• Able to work match nights, weekends and non-traditional hours

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in marketing with a concentration on live events
• Strong time-management and organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, work under deadlines and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Embraces a culture of inclusion and diversity where fans and team members feel welcomed, valued and heard
• Passion for sports and popular culture
• Ability to build partnerships internally and externally
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic is a must. Must have a team-first mentality with an eagerness to learn
