Great Escapes RV Resorts is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry. We are seeking individuals who possess the skills and interest to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.

The Aquatic Technician is responsible for care, maintenance, and appearance of all water attractions at the Resort. This includes pools, waterparks, and any other water related amenities on property. This is a part-time position that reports to the Aquatic Facilities Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Oversee the water quality of pools, splashpad, and other water amenities including but not limited to vacuuming pools daily, making sure chemical and maintenance logs are maintained per company standards.
• Performs require Pool Tests every two hours or as needed
• Dawn appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when applicable and comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Keep up with maintenance logs for all equipment and facilities.
• Pass Certified Pool Operator Class provided if needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues
• Current certifications in First Aid/CPR and AED or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Current certifications in CPO or willingness to obtain upon hire
• OSHA safety training/certifications a plus
• Possess excellent organization skills, as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possess exceptional guest relations skills
• Weekend & holiday hours are required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is an extremely physically active position. Employee is regularly required to stand, swim, walk, and run. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions (hot and humid, rainy, extreme temperatures, airborne particles).
