Reports to: Team Lead, Location Store Manager
Hours: Shifts span in varying increments between the operating hours of 9am to 9pm. Weekdays, weeknights, weekends, some holidays.
Responsibilities:
Complete Food Preparation
Before a restaurant opens, focus on items to be prepped and cooked for the day. This is to ensure timely service and decreased delays for customers. Responsible for daily preparation of all menu items, toppings, beverages and cooking all other menu items that require extended time. Proficiently execute and perform tasks including Back of House (BOH) and PREP. Responsible for ensuring efficient order flow between waitstaff and kitchen, prioritizing orders, and assisting in final product preparation.
Serve Food to Customers
Once the food is prepared, any restaurant team member may be called upon to deliver it to a customer. This requires attention to the order number and ensuring the proper items are delivered. To keep food service effective, team members may need to communicate with kitchen staff, cashier and or customers. Proficiently execute and perform all tasks including BOH and EXPO.
Qualifications:
o 1-3 years customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment is preferable.
o Ability to prepare foods and beverages to company standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, the number of ingredients, or substituted ingredients.
o Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
o Ability to adapt and learn quickly, specifically in accordance with store and company policies and procedures.
o Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality dessert products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
o Effective oral communication skills
o Knowledge of the retail environment
o Strong interpersonal skills
o Ability to work as part of a team
