Responsibilities:

• General organizing and cleaning of the Yard
• Help with preventative maintenance on company vehicles (trucks, heavy equipment, power tools, small engines)
• Cut and split firewood as it comes in
• Help separate wood/ brush as it comes in
• Prepare concrete paver orders as needed
• Load customer vehicles with materials-Must have relevant hoisting license-Reimbursement upon exam passing.
• Inspect and Maintain equipment with both daily and weekly checklists
• Adherence to strict safety standards established by the Company
• Assume other duties as assigned

Yard Worker Requirements and Qualifications

• Manual labor experience
• Ability to operate gas powered tools
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads)
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Must be able to work outdoors subject to inclement weather
• Ability to remain flexible as daily priorities change
• Ability to organize work and manage time effectively
• Use forklifts and bucket loaders to load and unload products and materials (preferred but not required) Hoisting license Required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
